I still feel that the book is one of the most important responses to the scourge of the 21^st century calling itself “neoliberalism,” a counterfeit form of liberty that is in fact global capitalism run mad, an enemy of democracy, a nightmare that that is in the process of killing the soul of the U.S. and threatening the planet itself.
